Hilary wanted a very light weight commuter. So we started with this Lemond titanium mountain bike frame. We powdercoated it and added a fake headbadge to fool the bandits. We built it up with a Shimano 1×6 drivetrain, Stronglight crankset, nomad built wheels and a Rudi Mayr restored Brooks B72 saddle.
It weighs only 19 lbs. looks at first glance like a cheap cruiser and rides great.
