Hetchins Italia

Hetchins is one of the great names in British bespoke bicycles. They are famous for their elaborate details and find craftsmanship. The Italia model was a bit more restrained than some of their fancier models but still exhibits exquisite craftsmanship.

We bought this bike from the estate of the original owner. He had it made to order in 1974 and traveled to the Hetchins shop in London to pick it up. It is completely original and in like new condition. It must not have been ridden much; it could pass for new. It had sat in a basement untouched for 20 years. We completed a full restoration, cleaning and polishing all of the components.

The frame size is 52 cm c to c seat tube and 54 cm c to c top tube

Alvin Drysdale Sport Tourer

Alvin Drysdale handbuilt custom bicycles from the 1930s into the late 50s in his shop on Canal Street in NYC. Most were track bikes for racing at the nearby Madison Gardens. But he also made road bikes that were far better than anything else available in the US at the time. This Sport Tourer was built in 1953.

We bought this bike from the second owner back in 2009. It had been previously repainted and restored. All components are period correct and in excellent condition. Most are original to bike. The original bill of sale is included with sale

The frame size is 60 cm c to c seat tube and 84 cm c to c top tube
