1950s Columbia cruiser

N.O.S. messenger saddle
Tronix BMX crank and sealed cartridge bearing bottom bracket
Nitto bars and Paul levers
Custom rear rack by Racer Racks of Brooklyn

Josh asked us to build an easy riding commuter that looks like a 1950s hot rod cruiser.

So rather than build a modern fake cruiser, we started with a mid 50s Columbia middleweight frame we purchased at the Copake swap meet. We powder coated the frame black and replaced all of the components with new modern components. Some highlights include; a custom rear rack by Racer Racks, Sturmey Archer 3 speed and drum brake hubs, a Tronix BMX crank with Tioga sealed cartridge bearing BB, a restored new old stock Messenger saddle and Paul brake levers
